………Tuesday evening had no intention in it, the kind that arrives already tired of the day and already leaning toward tomorrow.
The hours moved cleanly, without resistance, and that smoothness made them almost invisible. When time flows too easily, attention thins — not outwardly, but inwardly.
Movement continued as expected, familiar routes, familiar pace, everything functioning and yet slightly uninhabitated. The body sensed it first.
Not as pain and not even as discomfort.
More like a loss of density, as if presence had been spread too evenly across the day. Nothing needed fixing and there was no correction to make, only a quiet return to weight. Not slower, not faster — just more contained.
And containment, without effort or explanation, was enough to let the next day arrive without borrowing from it…
